羁旅的诗

I have lived a wandering life with my parents since I was a child. My life has taken me through many cities and this life has given me the emotional experience of being adrift. I left a part of myself in the lands where I lived, and those places gave me in return. I kept losing and filling myself until I became who I am now with the traces of memory given to me.
Starting from the emotional connection between identity and land, this work focuses on the emotional rifts of those who have lost their original cultural context.

I collected everyday objects that had an emotional connection with me in the places where I lived. And after encoding them, I invited friends I met along my life to write a poem using these codes for me, which is metaphor for the chemical reaction between the land and "my fragments".

I made these poems into posters and walked on the Gobi Desert near my hometown with red wax, recording the traces of walking. The blood-red and sticky wax represents flesh,blood and hazy emotions, while the transparent material gives the poster's visual state the possibility of flowing.The pattern of the transparent poster is determined by the landscape it penetrates, I wanted to introduce the field of viewing in the eyes of the viewer.
